Another international workshop was held in Ireland from 12th to 16th January as part of the Erasmus+ project Cutting Edges: Virtual Production at the Edges of the European Union.

This time the project team met in Dublin, at the Institute of Art, Design + Technology Dun Laoghaire.

Workshop participants worked with a mini LED wall, combining advanced screen solutions with the real-time Unreal Engine, and tested integration with the latest image projection technologies on the wall. Particular emphasis was placed on generative techniques used in the preparation of 3D assets and on spatial scanning, crucial for modern virtual production. Another intensive element of the meeting was a dedicated workday devoted to further development of the curriculum and syllabi, covering real-time engine technologies, virtual studio production, and generative techniques.

The workshops were attended by lecturers from the Cinematography and Television Production Department, Filip Gabriel Pudło and Arthur Reinhart, and producers Joanna Kornelia Kubik (Head of the Multimedia Services Department) and Jan Ledworowski, who jointly developed innovative teaching and production approaches at the intersection of art, technology and education.

The next implementation workshop is planned for autumn 2026 in Warsaw.
