HAMNET, directed by Chloé Zhao, has won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama. The cinematographer who worked as DOP on the film is our graduate Łukasz Żal.
HAMNET (2025, UK), from Oscar-winning writer-director Chloé Zhao, tells the moving love story that inspired Shakespeare to create his timeless masterpiece, HAMLET.
The film is based on Maggie O’Farrell’s bestselling 2020 novel, which has sold 2 million copies in the UK and US and been translated into 40 languages. The film also won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Film, Jessie Buckley.
