Izabela Zubrycka's documentary film received the Best Sound Award. The film was honoured at the Winter Apricots Prilep International Film Festival in North Macedonia.

The 10th annual Winter Apricot Festival concluded on 13th, December. This small short film festival, created for cultural exchange, takes place in the town of Prilep.

Congratulations to Maciej Tobera, who was in charge of the sound direction for the film YOU RIVER!

Jury statement:
By seamlessly blending folkloric songs and rituals with natural ambient textures and subtle electronic instrumentation, the film renders the river as a living presence - at once entity, substance, and state of being. Through its poetic use of image and authentic sound, the film guides the viewer from a realm of mysticism and quiet reverie, into a deeply human exploration of faith and salvation. For being able to articulate the profound bond between the local community and the river, serving as an ode to place and allowing sound to become the primary vessel of emotion, memory, and belief, You River by Izabela Zubrycka wins the Best sound award.

This is another international award for the film, which has been recognized at festivals for, among other things, its cinematography.
