Andrzej Danis's documentary film wins an award in the Colombian festival's Journalistic Shorts Competition. Congratulations!
Congratulations to our directing student, Andrzej Danis, and the entire crew of the documentary film DEBTORS.
The film received the "MEJOR CORTO PERIODÍSTICO" award of the Bogota Short Film Festival.
This was the film's premiere in Colombia. It had previously screened at festivals in Uruguay, Japan, India, France, and Romania, and was also recognized at the FEST New Directors New Films in Portugal, where it received an honourable mention.

Synopsis:
Starting with a personal story, we try to show the scale of the alimony problem in Poland. By combining documentary and fiction film forms, we tell about a phenomenon which connects people who are seemingly unrelated. At the same time, it divides those who were supposed to share their lives together.
The director's attendance at the festival was financed with the scholarship established by the Director of the Polish Film Institute.
