The Autumn Art Salon is an interdisciplinary review of contemporary art organized by the BWA Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The competition is aimed at young artists and aims to promote and support artists just beginning their creative journey. This year's edition received 1,572 submissions, and the jury selected 75 artists for the post-competition exhibition.

By decision of the jury of the LOOSTRO 2025. 17th Autumn Art Salon, composed of: Sebastian Kustra, Bownik, Natalia Bradbury, Jagna Domżalska and Sławomir Toman, second place was taken by Monika Jóźwicka, our fifth-year photography student.

Jury statement: "System" is a large-format, performative self-portrait for the camera. In it, the artist places herself in a cage filled with oppressive objects, exploring the systemic, cultural, and social mechanisms of discipline and control. Within the artificial, studio environment, she captures an element of truth which expresses dissent from prevailing social norms.

The exhibition can be viewed at BWA Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski until January 31, 2026.
