The 23rd edition of the Bogotá Short Film Festival runs from 2-9, December.

BOGOSHORTS has the status of a festival, participation in which makes films legible for the Oscar and Goya Awards.

In the International Journalistic Shorts Competition, the jury and viewers will see the documentary film DEBTORS directed by Andrzej Danis.

This new section, born out of a need to understand short films in the broadest possible light, coincides with the centenary of the birth of Colombian journalist Guillermo Cano.

Synopsis: Starting with a personal story, we try to show the scale of the alimony problem in Poland. By combining documentary and fiction film forms, we tell about a phenomenon which connects people who are seemingly unrelated. At the same time, it divides those who were supposed to share their lives together.

The film DEBTORS has already been screened at festivals in Portugal, Japan, India, France and Uruguay.
