Pola Włodarczyk's animated film SOMETHING THAT IS MISSING wins Best Student Film Award at the New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival in Japan!

A one-of-a-kind festival taking place at… an airport. Organized since 2014 in a public space at the New Chitose Terminal in Hokkaido, the festival, literally and figuratively, connects the island with the rest of the world.

Its 11th edition ran from 21 to 25, November.

The winner of the Student Competition was Pola Lotta Włodarczyk for her animated film SOMETHING THAT IS MISSING.

Jury statement: With a quiet and intimate tone, the story moves between dreams and reality to reveal the fragile truths of aging, helplessness, and neglect, leaving a deep emotional impact.
