The Poitiers FF is one of the most important student film festivals, founded in 1977. The programme features fiction, documentary, and animated films, both French and international. Organized by the Théâtre Auditorium de Poitiers, the festival annually invites young and experienced filmmakers, as well as members of the public, to watch and discuss student productions. The 48th Poitiers FF runs from 28, November to 5, December.

Each year, the festival receives approximately 1,400 international entries. Forty student films have been selected for the International Competition, including Artem Rachkelyuk's diploma fiction film, LOOK HOMEWARD.

Synopsis: Vlad, a Ukrainian living in Poland with his sister, learns that his father has been drafted into the army. What he tried to ignore suddenly comes back to him with a vengeance.
