The doxs! festival is Germany's oldest documentary film festival for children and young people. Its international programme is part of another, larger event, the Duisburger Filmwoche. The festival runs from November 3rd to 9th.

Jakub Wenda's documentary THE UNKNOWN LIFE OF FLOWERS premiered at the 22nd Millennium Docs Against Gravity. The film will have its international premiere in Germany.

Film synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Kamila will soon be leaving the foster care centre. As the group's leader, she serves as a virtual mother figure to the younger girls. From now on, they will have to fend for themselves and find hope in the place where they live.
