The film NISHI whose cinematograher is our student, Natalia Pośnik, is among the nominees for the Environmental Media Awards (EMA).
The film NISHI was made during Eco Film Lab workshops in Bangladesh.
The international ECO FILM LAB programme was developed by Bibesh Roy, a lecturer at the International Academy of Film and Media. The programme consists of a practical component culminating in short films shot in the Sundarbans National Park. The programme aims to promote cultural diversity and raise awareness of climate change and adapt film production methods accordingly.
This will be the 35th edition of the Environmental Media Awards. Their goal is to recognize productions which through their theme or execution particularly highlight biodiversity and climate change.
NISHI, with photos made by Natalia and edited by Wiktoria Szczepanek (editing student) is nominated in the Student Film category. The awards ceremony will take place on October 10th in Los Angeles.
