We are in Rogów on a 3-day team-building trip for first-year students of all majors. Students have the opportunity to get to know each other and face their first film assignments together. This is a foretaste of the knowledge they will gain in the following years of their studies.

The stay in Rogów is held under the supervision of the teaching staff of the Lodz Film School: Rector Milenia Fiedler, PhD, Vice-Rector for Students and Curriculum Prof. Marek Szyryk, Dean of the Film Art Organization Faculty Dr Anna Pachnicka, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Film Directing, Dr. Justyna Celeda, Dr Małgorzata Kotlińska, Katarzyna Szczerba, Dr Artur Majer, Dr Tomasz Kożuchowski, Joanna Jasińska-Koronkiewicz, PhD, Prof. Piotr Seweryński, and Dr. Matylda Paszczenko.

The programme of the stay includes classes on communication, screenwriting basics, location scouting, budgeting, storyboarding, casting planning and filming the first takes, as well as psychology workshops.

In addition, two screenings are planned: the film "Escape to the Silver Globe" directed by Dr. Jakub Mikurda, our lecturer, followed by a meeting with him, as well as a screening of a selected series and a meeting with Kacper Wysocki (our lecturer), Cyprian Piwowarski and Maciej Rynkiewicz.

The integration trip aims to promote the educational offer of the Film School addressed to school youth, as well as to promote Łódź as an attractive academic centre.
