The Short Film Competition Jury composed of Maria Sadowska, Anna Waśniewska and Anna Garncarczyk decided to award a Special Mention to our film: NIEZNANE ŻYCIE KWIATÓW dir. Jakub Wenda (directing student, prod. Lodz Film School)
* The Anna Wasilewska Award *
The Warmia and Mazury jury composed of Aleksandra Drzał-Sierocka, Alicja Orent and Maciej Miller awarded the Anna Wasilewska Award to the film PEOPLE AND THINGS directed by Damian Kosowski (directing graduate, prod. Munk Studio, coprod. Indeks Film Studio).
Jury statement: For creating a vision of the future which defies simple divisions into dystopia and utopia. It aptly comments on the present, conveying the universal truth that every beginning is born from an end.
* CineLine Award *
The WAMA Film Festival also presented a special award, sponsored by CineLine EDelivery. The company provides a full range of film and television post-production services, as well as digital distribution. Its founders, Tadeusz Król and Mateusz Szulc, presented the CineLine EDelivery Special Award to the film PEOPLE AND THINGS, directed by Damian Kosowski.
