The film THE FIRST SPRING WIND wins the Grand Prix at the 36th Student Film Festival in Tokyo. Congratulations!

TOGAKU, or TSFF, is the largest and longest-running student film festival in Japan.

The verdict from this year's 36th edition of the festival reads:

THE FIRST SPRING WIND

Film synopsis: My grandmother, who spends her days alone, sets off to see her husband in the hospital one last time. However, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a plastic curtain separates them. Time, though limited, continues to flow; the seasons complete their circle, and the wind starts to blow again to announce the arrival of a new spring.
