Open Industry Day is behind us (1, August), during which workshop participants and the Polish animation industry had the opportunity to meet and discuss potential collaboration. How did it turn out?
CEE Animation Workshop Module 3 was part of the international workshops for animation producers and creators, organized from 28, July to 2, August, 2025 in Łódź.
The event was attended by professionals from across Europe who work on the development, financing and co-production of animated projects.
On 1st, August, the CEE Animation Workshop at EC1 Łódź - City of Culture and the Lodz Film School hosted Open Industry Day. The programme included pitches for projects participating in the workshops, presentations from Polish studios and the Polish animation industry, a lecture by Giovanna Ferrari – Head of Story at Cartoon Saloon, and a garden party held on the school campus.
The event's national partners are EC1 Łódź – City of Culture, Łódź Film Commission, Lodz Film School, and the Polish Chamber of Audiovisual Producers. The event was co-financed by the Creative Europe MEDIA programme and the Polish Film Institute.
