Our students' films are in the ON THE BALTIC competition. The IŃSKO FILM SUMMER begins on 8, August.
In the young filmmakers' competition of the IŃSKO FILM SUMMER – ON THE BALTIC - we will show:
DUCK BROTH dir. Maria Dakszewicz
and
THE CROOKED HEADS dir. Jakub Krzyszpin
The third edition of the film competition is open to young filmmakers from the Baltic Sea region (excluding Russia). The films will compete for the Golden Fish statuette and a financial prize. Competition screenings will take place on August 12th (Tuesday) at the Morena cinema in Ińsko.
Fingers crossed!
The IŃSKO FILM SUMMER programme also includes films by our lecturers, doctoral students and graduates: CROSSROADS by Dominika Montean–Pańków, TRAINS by Maciej Drygas, THIS IS NOT MY FILM by Maria Zbąska, and FOREST by Piotr Dumała. Meetings with filmmakers associated with our School have also been planned.
The IŃSKO FILM SUMMER runs from 8 to 17, August. It is one of the oldest cyclical film events in Poland, promoting films with artistic and social value. It focuses on cultural phenomena less present in the media, as well as those which touch on themes of cultural distinctiveness in world cinema. A significant portion of the festival is devoted to films which boldly comment on the changes taking place in the contemporary world.
