Here are the results of the International Short Film Competition of the BNP Paribas Two Riversides Film and Art Festival in Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula River:

— 1st Prize of PLN 8,000: BLOODLINE (dir. Wojciech Węglarz, our cinematography student) "for the oldest forest witnessing the oldest crime, for an aesthetically, emotionally and intellectually satisfying metaphor of indifference to the suffering of others, as well as for a monumental portrait of impartial nature." Film production: Munk Studio

— 2nd Prize of PLN 6,000: FRESHMAN (dir. Michał Edelman, Tomasz Pawlik – our school graduates) "for a complete portrait of a boy's adolescence in conditions of oppression: both physical, such as the walls of a reformatory, and social, such as models of masculinity which exclude sensitivity, for raw authenticity and subtle power of expression." Film production: Munk Studio.

— 3rd Prize of PLN 4,000: THEY DON'T LIKE US (dir. Paula Gidaszewska – our directing student) "for the non-normative sensibilities we crave, for the creative courage to set out in search of queer predecesors, for the insightful portrayal of a mature, everyday daredevil who expands the norms for us all; in short – for the queer stories we've been waiting for." Film production: Lodz Film School

— The Agatka Modrzejewska Award for Best Cinematography, worth PLN 5,000, goes to Zuzanna Kernbach, our cinematography graduate, for the film ATTRACTION, directed by Aleksandra Szczepaniak, "for language which is the visual equivalent of love's paradoxes: precise and unstable, breathless and sultry, sentimental and insightful." Film production: Film School in Gdynia.

The awards were granted by a jury composed of: Katarzyna Warnke - actress, Michał Walkiewicz - film critic, Katarzyna Szustow - intimate scenes coordinator.
