Another international award for Mohammed Almughanni's film! The Polish-French co-production AN ORANGE FROM JAFFA, produced by our Indeks Film Studio, among others, was awarded the Nancy IFF Grand Prix

Nancy International Film Festival is was initiated in 1994 from the need to educate, break down barriers and stereotypes in thinking about human rights. At first, it was known under the name Aye Aye Film Festival. This year's edition ran from 27, June to 6, July.

The Grand Prix of the Festival Jury went to Mohammed Almughanni, our graduate and director of the film AN ORANGE FROM JAFFA.

The film was made in cooperation with Gaza Films, War on Screen, Centre National de la Cinematographie, Arte France and Palestinian Cultural Fund.

Synopsis: Mohammed and Farouk seemingly have little in common. Mohammed has returned to Palestine for a short visit, carrying a permanent residence card and the promise of a peaceful future. Farouk, on the other hand, is a young taxi driver condemned to live in one of the world's most dangerous places. When their lives intersect, stark differences emerge, creating tensions that are hard to navigate. Can Mohammed and Farouk bridge their divides when confronted with the arrogance of Israeli soldiers?
