Golden Grape Awards for Magnus von Horn for THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE and Maciej Drygas for THE TRAINS! Our directing lectureres win main prizes at the 54th Lubuskie Film Summer in Łagów.
* The Jury of the Main Competition of the 54th LFS Łagów composed of: Jan Jakub Kolski – chairman, Katarzyna Herman, Anna Jadowska, Łukasz Muszyński and Sławomir Fabicki, having watched 15 feature films, decided to award:
The Golden Grape Award for the film THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE, directed by Magnus von Horn (graduate and lecturer at the Directing Department) for a timeless, dark fairy tale that the Brothers Grimm would not be ashamed of. This shocking portrait of the hell of women entangled in the social and class mechanisms of violence is a film that gets deep under your skin and does not let you forget about itself.
Special Mention for the film THIS IS NOT MY FILM, directed by Maria Zbąska (graduate of the Department of Cinematography and Television Production) Special Mention for Maria Zbąska for the film – THIS IS NOT MY FILM in which she managed to describe unsolvable problems in a relationship with defiance and tenderness and place them in beautiful natural surroundings.

Golden Grape Award for the film TRAINS, dir. Maciej Drygas (Directing Department lecturer) for the magic of image and sound, the rhythm of which creates a metaphor for history as a vicious circle of hope and tragedy.

The Silver Grape Award for the film PEOPLE AND THINGS, directed by Damian Kosowski (graduate of the Directing Department) for creative maturity, excellent leading of the main actress and artistic coherence of the whole.
