We have inaugurated the annual workshops organized in cooperation with the Drama and Theatre Agency. Their finale will be seen during the Drama Schools’ Festival coming soon... Everyone on stage!

The aim of the workshops is to include the author, on a partnership basis, in the process of creating the show (the author is present from the first rehearsals), to develop attitudes of respect for copyright in young theatre artists in their approach to contemporary texts, to accustomise actors to talking to the author about changes in the text, and to learn mutual trust, which is a priority in times of omnipresent competition. Also important is the confrontation and exchange of experiences during joint work on the stage form of a dramatic text. This type of workshop gives the opportunity to initiate work during the creation of a theatre show from the moment of choosing the text, through creative discussion on its form, to the concept of the stage realization.

The curator of this year's edition of the workshops is Bartosz Cudak, literary secretary of the St. Wyspiański Silesian Theatre in Katowice.
