The films ENDS AND BEGINNINGS and THE DAM, produced by the Lodz Film School, are on the longlist of 75 selected entries for the prestigious British award.

This year’s BAFTA Student Awards welcomed 1034 submissions from 154 schools across 39 countries, which will compete for nominations in Animation, Documentary, Live Action, Games, and Immersive. The finalists for these categories will be announced at the end of May.

THE DAM

Synopsis: Michał tries to start a new life and forget the one he has had so far, marked by the long-ago disappearance of his son. A sudden message from a mysterious witness disrupts his efforts and forces him to confront memories which turn out to be more difficult than he expected.
