London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, organised by the British Film Institute, will screen Julia Sadowska’s feature graduation film COMME DES COWBOYS.

The festival was created with LGBTQIA+ cinema in mind, and this is its 39th edition. Rich in full-length and short films, special events, the festival brings together not only the queer community, but film enthusiasts in general.

The festival runs from 19 to 30 March and takes place at BFI Southbank.

The short film programme includes Julia Sadowska’s feature film COMME DES COWBOYS, which won the Golden Hobby-Horse at the 64th Krakow Film Festival.

Film synopsis: Julita works at the stables to support herself. One day her ex-girlfriend, Stacy, arrives from France to take part in an equestrian competition. During her stay, she tries to get closer to Julita, who will have to confront her feelings for her and the fact that the only relationships she is able to have are with horses instead of people…
