Dr. Filip Gabriel Pudło & Jan Ledworowski participated in the opening workshop of the project Cutting-Edge Virtual Production at the Edges of The European Union. Our School is a Partner of the project

The week-long opening workshop of the project "Cutting-Edge Virtual Production at the Edges of The European Union" took place in Finland - at the University of Turku and at the Helsinki Film Studio.

The aim of the project is to prepare educational paths in the area of virtual production and generative AI. During the three years of the project, virtual technology teaching programmes will be developed, covering both the creation of digital content (3D modeling in game engines, scanning), filming (LED walls), GenAI programming (procedural GenAI), as well as the preparation of supporting theoretical classes. Academics and collaborators of the involved production studios will conduct pilot courses during the project, in which our students will be able to participate. Workshops for our staff are also planned during the project - they will be held in Helsinki, Malta, Dublin, Lisbon and Warsaw.

The project is led by Turku University of Applied Sciences. Partners include universities and production studios: Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Lusófona University, L-Università ta’ Malta, Łódź Film School, BCFE Ballyfermot College of Further Education, FilmEU Association, Angel Films, Studio Seven, Noho, FX Roadlights.

The project "Cutting-Edge Virtual Production at the Edges of The European Union" is co-financed by the European Union.
