The project is co-financed by the European Union - European Funds for Social Development Programme 2021-2027 in the amount of PLN 1,411,400.00. The total value of the project is PLN 1,484,399.99.

The aim of the project is to effectively eliminate barriers in access to education at the National Film School in Łódź by ensuring that people with special needs, including Persons with Disabilities (PWD), have the opportunity to fully benefit from what our school has to offer.

This goal will be achieved through the implementation of project activities in 8 key areas, which are tasks in this project, in the following scopes: organizational, architectural, information and communication, digital, technological, procedural, supporting education and raising awareness of the needs of PwD. Thanks to the project for the target group, which are school employees and indirectly students with special needs, the result will be achieved in the form of implementing solutions to improve the accessibility of the School for PwD.

The project will include training aimed primarily at increasing awareness of the needs of People with Disabilities.

The main idea accompanying the implementation of the project will be the idea of universal design, thanks to which the campus of the Lodz Film School will be a friendly place for the entire academic community. Thanks to the implementation of the project, we will be able to create a separate organizational unit for accessibility, which will deal with the implementation of accessibility. The task of the unit will be to coordinate and implement tasks thanks to which people with special needs will be provided with conditions for full participation in university life, both during recruitment, the education process, conducting scientific research, as well as participation in cultural and sporting events and employment.
