The 28th Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival runs from 25, October to 3, November in the Czech Republic.

Ji.hlava Festival is one of the key European festivals and the largest celebration of auteur documentary cinema in Central and Eastern Europe. It has the status of a festival providing elegibility to participating films to compete for the Oscar® Award and the European Film Academy Awards.

But these are not the only school accents at the international festival – in the Constellations section, the film DANGER ZONE directed by Vita Maria Drygas, our PhD student at the Doctoral School, will have its Czech premiere.

This section presents documentaries that have already been featured at previous festivals and caught the attention of selectors.
