There are 30 student fiction and animated films in the Authors Spotlight International Competition –including those from our school: GOOD GUY, AN ORANGE FROM JAFFA, DANCING IN THE CORNER, DUCK BROTH
The International Authors Spotlight Competition is a permanent section of the Kamera Akcja Festival, which this year runs at Monopolis, the Film Museum and the Lodz Film School (we are a Festival Partner) from 24 to 27, October.
Student films will be shown in 4 blocks.
The following films from our school are in the Competition:
* GOOD GUY dir. Mikołaj Piszczan (fiction)
Screening: block III, 26, October, at 10 a.m., Film Museum
* AN ORANGE FROM JAFFA dir. Mohammed Almughanni (fiction), production: Lumisenta Foundation (Patryk Sielecki), INDEKS Film Studio (Marcin Malatyński), Synecdoche (David Frenkel)
Screening: block IV, 27, October, at 12:00, Film School Cinema
* DANCING IN THE CORNER dir. Jan Bujnowski (fiction)
Screening: block II, 25, October , at 7:15 p.m., Film Museum
* DUCK BROTH dir. Maria Dakszewicz (animated)
Screening: block III, 26, October, at 10 a.m., Film Museum
And for short film lovers, something EXTRA – Authors Spotlight Extra, a selection of films which were not qualified for the competition but deserve screening and the viewer's attention.
