3 our students’ films – IMPASSE, dir. N. Reza, HAIRCUT, dir. Sh. Meng - Csaba Szentgáli is the DOP of both of them and THE CATHEDRAL dir. Jan Sokala (& DOP) and K. Kosajda at the Zsigmond Vilmos FF.
The 8th Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival runs from 8 to 12, October in Szeged, Hungary.
This is a festival under the patronage of the outstanding Hungarian cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond, winner of the Oscar Award. The organizers, presenting the spectrum of European cinema, focus on the work of cinematographers.

Synopsis: Jan got tired of his repetitive, unchanging life as a welder. He decides to leave the city where he has lived for decades. Before all of this, he must overcome his shame to visit his daughter, whom he hasn't seenfor a long time.
The film is Csaba's master's degree in cinematography.

Synopsis: One night Piotrek is caught and abused by a group of boys from his school. After the assault, he meets Arek, a taxi driver, who decides to help him and drive him home. During their journey, the taxi driver makes the boy a surprising offer that leaves him with a serious dilemma.
