CILECT (Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision) is the International Association of Film and Television Schools, which brings together over 180 schools and educational audiovisual institutions from 65 countries around the world. Our School is also a member of the Association, which was founded in 1954 in Cannes.

The Association, with votes from representatives of member schools, awards its annual prizes - CILECT PRIZE, in 3 categories of student films: fiction, documentary and animated.

This year, 108 film schools submitted their films.

BE SOMEBODY is the diploma film of the Film and Television Directing Dept. graduate, Michał Toczek. The director has already won several Polish and international awards, including:

* GOLDEN HOBBY-HORSE for the director of the best fiction film at the 63rd Krakow Film Festival (2023)
* Peer Award Leuven International Short Film Festival in Belgium (2023)
* Outstanding Artistic Achievement in a Fiction Film at the 53rd Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival in Germany (2024)
* Jantar for a short fiction film at the 42nd Koszalin Film Debut Festival THE YOUTH AND FILM (2023)
 * Special Mention at the 48th Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia (2023).
