The 21st Węgiel Film Festival runs from 24 to 27, April.

The leading theme of this year's edition of the festival is the future, 21st century, new technologies.

The Lodz Film School presents its programme for 26, April.

The programme includes:

10.00 - 15.00
The New Animation Scientific Club will conduct a workshop on cut-out animation entitled: "Proverbs".

14.30 - 15.30
Screening of student films:

THE WHALE SONG, dir. Klaudia Folga
GOOD GUY, dir. Mikołaj Piszczan

16.00 - 17.30
Meeting "Big studios, box office, Polish film distribution" with Sławomir Salomon and the inauguration of the newly established Scientific Club at the School for film distribution and festival policy. The meeting will be led by Anna Wróblewska, a lecturer at the Faculty of Film Art Organization.

The programme also includes the opening of a photography exhibition prepared by students of the Photography Scientific Club entitled "Prześwietleni".
The opening will take place the day before, i.e. 25, April at 4 PM in foyer of the Film School in Katowice.
