On 30, November (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m., we invite you to our Cinema for a screening of the acting students diploma film directed by Angela Astrid Gabryel followed by a meeting with the director.
DIFFERENT PATHS TO HOLINESS (filmschool.lodz.pl/en/news) is a full-length feature film debut of Aniela Astrid Gabryel, Lodz Film School direction graduate, author of the award-winning documentary RADICAL MOVE at this year's 63rd Krakow Film Festival.
"Watching people at the concert inspired me to write stories of several young people who yearn for spirituality in today's world. They look for it beyond religion and in very different ways. (...) we're a little funny in this desire too.” – said the director in an interview. This is how five paths were created in which the characters encounter their greatest fears and obsessions. The body, religion, politics, eco-activism, shamanism and disagreement with holiness as we know it."
This film is the sixth acting students diploma film in the school history. After the screening, there will be a meeting with the film's director led by film expert and critic Diana Dąbrowska.
