The Kort Film Festival is held in Leuven from 24, November to 2, December.

Launched in 1995, the festival presents European fiction, documentary, animated and experimental films. Since 2012, it has had the status of an event making films eligible for the Oscar© Awards (Best Short Film), since 2016 also for the BAFTA Awards, and since 2017 for the European Film Awards.

BE SOMEBODY - after screenings in France, Germany and also numerous shows in Poland – the film has been included in the European Festival Competition and has a chance not only for a prestigious award, and who knows, maybe also for an American Film Academy nomination. We will see what future brings.
