Check out which films qualified for the Krakow International Film Festival competitions - ETIUDA and ANIMA. See the winners of the Polish Filmmakers Association awards.
The 30th edition of the Krakow International Film Festival will be held from 21 to 26, November.

The following student films will represent our school in two main competitions:
* ETIUDA COMPETITION:
ALCIBIADES, dir. Robert Kwilman
IL3 MNI3 KOCHASZ, dir. Ewa Japola
MELODY DAY, dir. Shailesh Singh
1,100 film entries were submitted to the Competition, and out of them 25 films qualified.

The Krakow International Film Festival is the oldest film festival in Poland confronting the achievements of students of film and art schools from around the world and the work of artistic animation creators - both professionals, students and independent filmmakers. The central point of the annual event are two competitions ETIUDA & ANIMA, in which awards are given: in the student competition covering fiction and documentary films - Golden, Silver and Bronze Dinosaurs and a Special Golden Dinosaur for the best film school of the festival, and in the competition for animation creators - Golden, Silver and Bronze Jabberwocky and additionally, a Special Golden Jabberwocky for the best animated student film of the festival. www Festiwalu
* WINNERS OF AWARDS OF THE POLISH FILMMAKERS ASSOCIATION
During the festival, the Board of the Animated Film Section of the Polish Filmmakers Association grants industry awards for creators and co-creators of animated films. The originator and initiator of granting the Awards is the Board of the Animated Film Section of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
Our graduates and a lecturer have been awarded this year:
Agata Gorządek – Best Debut Award – for the film ZAPOMNIANA KSIĄŻKA
Marta Magnuska – Honorary Mention – for animation in the film KONIUNKCJA
Izumi Yoshida – Best Art Direction Award – for the film MOST
Kacper Zamarło (together with Hubert Zemler) - Best Soundtrack and Music Composed for a Film Award – for the film SIOSTRA, dir. Kasia K. Pieróg
Award giving ceremony and the screening of awarded films –
24, November (Friday) at 8.00 p.m. in the Małopolska Garden of Art in Krakow.

* 10 FOR 30th ANNIVERSARY
