39th WFF – Best Polish Short Films

Our student films: 3 fiction, 1 documentary and 2 animated ones will be shown at the Warsaw Film Festival in the Best Polish Short Films section.

In the festival programme there are:

A HANDFUL OF DIRT, dir. Izabela Zubrycka (documentary)
CROCODILE, dir. Dawid Bodzak (fiction)
THE CREATURE, dir. Damian Kosowski (fiction)
SUCH MIRACLES DO HAPPEN, dir. Barbara Rupik (animated)
THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE FOREST, dir. Szymon Ruczyński (animated)

The festival programme also includes THE CLOWNS, a film directed by Gabriela Muskała, which is a full-length diploma film of our acting students. The film THE CLOWNS is in the "1-2 COMPETITION" - a competition for the first and second full-length (over 60 minutes) feature films in their directors’ filmography. "The Clowns" is in competition among fifteen films from around the world, including representatives of such countries as Mexico, Bulgaria, Colombia, Spain and the USA. The screening of the film “the Clowns” during the Warsaw Film Festival will be its international premiere.
