At the Łódź Philharmonic Hall, the 2023/2024 academic year was inaugurated jointly by the Rectors, Senates, Students and Doctoral Students of the following universities: the University of Łódź, the Lodz University of Technology, the Medical University of Łódź, the Lodz Film School, the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and the Academy of Music in Łódź.

The Rector of the University of Lodz - Prof. Elżbieta Żądzińska spoke on behalf of the authorities of all universities. She presented the academic history of Łódź and the history of the life and achievements of Jan Karski who is the patron of the Łódź Academic Partnership.

Each Rector matriculated representatives of students and doctoral students of his/her university. Milenia Fiedler, Rector of our School, solemnly matriculated first-year students: Maria Koszewska and Adam Wojciechowski.

The music setting for the ceremony was prepared by the Choir of the Academy of Music in Łódź and students of our School who closed the ceremony with a brilliant performance. They performed four songs: KREON by Maanam, STOJĄC W KOLEJCE by Republika, NAJMNIEJSZY ODDZIAŁ ŚWIATA by the team Morawski Waglewski Nowicki Hołdys and NIE WOLNO by Daab. The music programme of the second-year acting students was prepared by Joanna Gogulska.

The inauguration was the first joint event carried out within the Łódź Academic Partnership which was established last year. :
