Workshop meetings attended by first-year students took place from 24 to 30, September.

Oxana Smilkova's work method is based on the idea of finding the truth in a role by understanding the truth about yourself. According to the lecturer, an actor should realize himself in acting, develop his imagination, and improvise during acting exercises. The key is to memorize recollections, emotions and experiences and bring them to life when the role requires it. Oxana Smilkova believes that in the early years of education, a very important aspect is to help students understand that the entire psychophysical mechanism must be involved in creating a role. During the workshops, the lecturer used the methods of Chekhov, Brook and the "metaphorical" method she developed.

Master classes with creators of contemporary world theatre are co-financed from the state budget - from the 2023 funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in, as part of the 2023 Artistic Education programme.
