The Ottawa Film Festival will be held from 20 to 24, September. OIAF is one of the most important animated film festivals in the world organized since 1976 by the Canadian Film Institute. It is an annual, five-day event filled with screenings, meetings and workshops, whose guests, and among them producers, directors, animators, students and film enthusiasts, come from all over the world.

The film’s screening in Ottawa is its international premiere. So far, the film THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE FOREST has been awarded at the Krakow Film Festival (International Competition - Award for the Best European Film). It also received a Special Mention at the ANIMATOR International Animated Film Festival.
