We keep celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Photography faculty. The #NOW exhibition started a tour and will be shown at the Rybnik Photo Fest., the "W Ramach Sopotu" Fest. & the Opole Photo Fest

Curators Paweł Bownik and Witek Orski, as creators using photography in the field of contemporary art, make a subjective selection and study of the achievements of Lodz Film School photography students from the final years of their studies. The selection is an attempt to map the most interesting contemporary phenomena and trends within photographic imaging and multimedia practices that stem from photography.
The event is organized as part of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the Lodz Film School and the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Photography.
It was co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund.
Artists: Maciej Bernaś, Justyna Chrobot, Paweł Giza, Natalia Godek, Patrycja Gotszling, Michalina Kacperak, Monika Łuczak, Magdalena Michalak, Łukasz Pawłowski, Filip Preis, Monika Sałyga, Michał Siarek, Agata Wieczorek, Tomek Wysocki.
It seems to be an intense festival and exhibition time for our artists, but it's happening, just #NOW!
The exhibition will be shown at the following festivals:
* Rybnik Photo Festival (8-10.09.2023)
The festival promotes the art of photography through meetings with authors, exhibitions and workshops. It connects visual artists and shows what is valuable.

* W ramach Sopotu (16.09.2023) (multimedia presentation) “The motto of the 9th edition of the festival will be "Source", i.e. the beginning, the prologue, the reason. The aspect of the beginning inspires the artists whom I invited to cooperate with us this year. Importantly, it is not about a source that satisfies the search or leads to an easy solution. On the contrary, "source" provokes discussion. This is a question - "why this way", " where from ", an attempt to understand "what for." – says Maja Kaszk, the main curator of the festival.
