Nominations for the Film Screenplay Library operating at our Library, our lecturer Anna Wróblewska and PhD student Damian Kocur.

The nominees for the Polish Film Institute Awards have been announced. The prizes will be awarded for the 15th time in the following categories: animation of film culture, innovation or technological solution, film criticism, film book, Polish film distribution, debut of the year and film poster. The winners will be announced on 20, September during the 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

In the Animation of Film Culture Category
FILM SCREENPLAYS LIBRARY

It was established in 2019 and since then it has been operating at the Lodz Film School Library. The use of the Library's resources is open to the public for personal use only for educational and research purposes. Currently, the Library has about 100 screenplays provided by the owners of the rights to the screenplays (writers and producers). The following staff members are responsible for the creation and operation of the Library: Jarosław Czembrowski, director of the School Library, editor-in-chief of the Filmpolski.pl website; Marek Rudnicki, film producer, lecturer at the Film Art Organization Department and Magdalena Wleklik, director and screenwriter, PhD student at our School.

In the Film Book Category:
"Kadry Kawalerowicza" edited by Rafał Syska and our lecturer - Anna Wróblewska, an excellent journalist and film publicist, animator of film culture.

In the Debut of the Year Category:
Our doctoral student - Damian Kocur, showered with awards for his fiction debut, the film "Bread and Salt".
