The current terms of office of the Scientific Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences expire between January and May 2024, which is why the elections for the scientific committees for the next term of office have already started.

Over 35,000 independent researchers are entitled to vote, therefore the elections for the 78 scientific committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences will be conducted with the help of the Electronic Electoral System of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ESWPAN). The regulations and the election schedule can be found on the PAN home page in the Scientific Committees / Elections tab in the main menu at https://pan.pl/.

Registration of election participants in the ESWPAN system takes place between 5, July and 6, October.
