For the sixteenth time, in the first week of July, the National Polish Film Meetings KAMERALNE LATO will make Radom the capital of cinema in Mazovia.

This year, the most important film events will take place under the banner of FREEDOM Film Festival. Traditionally, educational programmes for children and youth, industry section meetings and numerous accompanying events are also planned.

FREEDOM Film Festival, whose artistic director is Łukasz Adamski, primarily consists of two film competitions. The International Short Film Competition, launched last year, will feature productions from all over the world, e.g. from Australia, Finland, the Philippines and Israel. Films from the international section will be assessed by the Jury: Krzysztof Zanussi (chairman), Lena Góra and Agnieszka Glińska.

Within the National Short Film Competition, we will see twenty Polish short films. The winner will be decided by the jury members: Michał Oleszczyk (chairman), Małgorzata Zajączkowska and - as every year - Marek Świszcz as well as Anna Mucha, who is the ambassador of the KAMERALNE LATO.
