ANIMATOR is the largest animated film festival in Poland, which has an excellent international rank - the Festival qualifies for Oscar® nominations. See which of our films are in the programme.
The first edition of the International Festival of Animated Films ANIMATOR in Poznań took place in 2008 and was the culmination of the 60th anniversary of Polish Animation. During each edition of the festival, over 300 international films are presented, including retrospectives, reviews, premieres and rarely shown works by animation pioneers. This year's 16th edition of the Festival will last from 21 to 25, June. Festival on line – from 26 to 30, June.

As part of the Polish Animated Film Competition, the jury will award the following prizes: Award for the Best Polish Short Film and the Grand Prix of the competition / Golden Animusz, 2nd Prize / Silver Animusz, 3rd Prize / Bronze Animusz.
There will also be a special Audience Award for the Best Polish Short Film.
In the ANIMATOR WITHOUT SELECTION section, viewers will see:

SELF PORTRAIT AS FELT, dir. Julia Benedyktowicz
ANIMATOR WITHOUT SELECTION is a warm-up lasting several days before the start of the main programme of the Festival, during which the films from the competition that have not passed the official selection process are presented. During Animator's Screenings without Selection, viewers have a unique opportunity to choose films which, with the so-called "wild card" will enter the selection of two competitions: the Polish Animated Films Competition and the International Short Films Competition.
In addition, the Festival programme includes films by our graduates and lecturers.
