A PICNIC ON THE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DAY was organized at the School for Polish and Ukrainian children. It was a day filled to the brim with joy and laughter.

A picnic on the occasion of International Children's Day is an event that has taken place in our school once again. This year, children were invited to the world of film. We wanted to show them that film can make even the most personal dreams come true, which is why the theme of this year's picnic was "The Magic Pencil", referring to a cult cartoon from the Se-ma-for Small Film Forms Studio convincing us that nothing is impossible!

There were so many attractions waiting for the children at the school. There was a theatre show of acting students prepared under the supervision of Małgorzata Flegel. There was a screening of student films in our cinema. The children took part in a variety of group activities such as dance classes conducted by Małgorzata Lisiecka-Muniak, a staff member of our Promotion Office, representing the Aurora Dance Community group. The children enjoyed themselves in the open air in beautiful area around the fountain on the school campus. There was an activity where children could write down their dreams, and culinary delights with a chocolate fountain playing the the central role. There was a meeting and commemorative photos with Julia Baryga, Miss of the Łódź Voivodeship and 2nd Runner-Up of Miss Polonia 2021/2022.

The event was successful thanks to the involvement of the entire school community - school authorities, all the Faculties, lecturers and, of course, the students, as well as the efforts of the Foundation for the Development of the Lodz Film School with the special involvement of our lecturer, Roman Sawka. The coordination and organization of the event was undertaken with great success by students of the second year of Master's studies at the Faculty of Film Art Organization - Daria Przybylska, Daniel Krzyżanowski and Kamil Brandeburg.

We would like to thank our guests for visiting us, for their commitment and the immense joy which they brought to Targowa Street. And many thanks to everyone who was involved in the organization of this extraordinary day.
