Careful glances, a calculated strategy and - finally - the decision. King or joker? Red or Black? Split or street? Now is the time. WE ARE ENTERING THE GAME!
We will show who enters the game efficiently, without batting an eye. The game is intricate, full of puzzles, but it draws you in, absorbs your mind and body. It takes tactics, but also a heart, a romantic feeling surrounded by a network of iron nerves. Will you play va banque?
The stage is the board, and the players enter the game. What arrangement will they propose? How will they arrange the roles? Clear action fields, as well as a linear start and finish? A labyrinthine story about the entanglement of relationships? An uncompromising auction of human passions, the stake of which is truth and falsehood? Regardless of the game, its participants are young and strong, determined and have a goal.
WE ARE ENTERING THE GAME and inviting you to three theatres in Łódź: the Kazimierz Dejmek Nowy Theatre, the Henryk Ryl Arlekin Theatre and our Studyjny Theatre from 8, May to 14, May 2023.
We have a license for a young, clear, and sensitive THEATRE. Artists have their own strategy, but also sense. They have talent and skills, feeling and faith. The real action will take place behind the doors. You don't believe it... Wanna bet?
WE ARE ENTERING THE GAME! Young adepts of theatre arts, who come from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw and its Branch in Białystok, the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków and its Wrocław Branch as well as the Acting Department of the Lodz Film School, enter the stage.
The cards are not dealt, and the winner is not decided by fate. Theatrical croupiers will decide. Meet this year's jury: Dominika Biernat, Jacek Braciak, Mirosław Baka and Tomasz Schuchardt.
The 41st Festival of Drama Schools returns to provide a roulette of emotions, a series of positive vibrations and a palette of stage impressions. We have developed a style of the game and we have its programme assumptions: 13 competition shows, as well as off-competition shows, audition workshops for students, DRAMA IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPMENT workshops in cooperation with the Drama and Theatre Agency (ADiT), meetings with guests, and permanent festival aspect - FST Winners on the Big Screen at the Film Museum in Łódź.
Who will draw the lucky card? Whoever enters the stage starts the game. We watch, we sympathize, we hunger. THEY ARE ENTERING THE GAME! WE are joining them, too!
