Quotes of admiration, selected from many. It is a great joy for us that on March 17, Anna Jadowska's film will be shown at the ILUZJON Cinema in Warsaw - "Woman on the Roof" will open the 16th edition of our review ŁODZIĄ PO WIŚLE.

"Woman on the Roof" is a moving film telling the story of a sixty-year-old midwife Mira, who unexpectedly robs a bank with Dorota Pomykała in the main role. Mirka is great at her job and even better at hiding her needs and feelings. At home, she also focuses on others - her husband and adult son. Sometimes, she sneaks onto the roof of her apartment building to smoke a cigarette. It's the only thing she does just for herself until the day she robs a bank armed with a small kitchen knife. Will this event allow Mirka to look at her life from a different perspective?

The film was appreciated by the critics of the New York Tribeca Film Festival, the jury of Hanoi IFF and Camerimage. Dorota Pomykała received acting awards in New York, Gdynia, and recently the Eagle of the Polish Film Academy.
