THE VOICE by our PhD student Dominika Montean-Pańków will have its international premiere at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival which starts on 2, March.
The 25th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival will be held from 2 to 13 March.
The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, organized since 1991, is an international event focused on documentary cinema, which aims to review and promote the latest and most important international films. The festival is also accompanied by industry meetings, pitches and discussion panels under the name of Agora Docs.
The film THE VOICE by our PhD student Dominika Montean-Pańków will be screened in Newcomers Competition Section (for first or second films)
Film synopsis: 14 men enter the novitiate of the Jesuit Order. There they are cut off from the world for two years. They almost live their lives like hermits with no money, access to phones, or the Internet. They cannot even contact their friends. For this, they are subjected to many tests. During this time they have to face the decision whether religious life is their lifelong choice.
