Creative drawings, set design elements, insightful cinematography. The Film Museum invites you to a unique exhibition "Mariusz Wilczyński. Kill it and Leave this Town". Opening: 24, Feb., at 5:00 pm
The exhibition "Mariusz Wilczyński. Kill it and Leave this Town" will open at the Film Museum in Lodz on Friday, 24 February at 5 p.m.
Three years after the world premiere of the film “Kill it and Leave this Town” at the Berlinale, the curators of the Museum present an exhibition prepared in cooperation with the Zachęta National Art Gallery in Warsaw. It shows the artist's work methods, original drawings, set design elements and fragments that were ultimately not included in the film. The exhibition is accompanied by an excellent postscript in the form of the exhibition Nalepa and Wilk, consisting of photos of the bluesman, originator of the bands Blackout and Breakout never seen before. Their author is Mariusz Wilczyński, who had been friends with Nalepa for nearly 30 years.
At the end of the exhibition opening Mariusz Wilczyński’s film "Kill it and Leave this Town" will be screened.
