The appreciation for the film which started with the European Film Awards, Los Angeles & New York Film Critics Awards has now led to the Academy Awards shortlist.

The Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences has announced shortlists of films in 10 categories which compete for official Oscar nominations.
In the International Feature Film category 15 films will advance to the next round of voting for the 95th Academy Awards. The group includes the film EO by Jerzy Skolimowski, our film directing graduate.
Michał Dymek, our cinematography graduate and this year’s Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award Winner, (filmschool.lodz.pl/en) worked as the DOP on the film EO.
