On the opening day of the MAN IN DANGER Festival, Wojciech Staroń received the Krzysztof Talczewski Award for outstanding achievements in documentary filmmaking. Congratulations, Professor!
This year, for the first time the Krzysztof Talczewski Award for innovation in documentary filmmaking was presented during the MAN IN DANGER Media Festival. It was received by Wojciech Staroń, an outstanding cinematographer of feature and documentary films, film director and a lecturer at the Department of Cinematography and TV Production at our school.
Krzysztof Talczewski, the patron of the award, was a film producer and documentary filmmaker, an inhabitant of Łódź associated with Polish Television and the Polish Film Institute. He died in October, 2022.
