On November 29, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Scholarships of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage were awarded to students of art schools. Among the winners there are 4 of our students.

Scholarships for the most outstanding students awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage were presented to:

Aleksandra Folczak (Film and Television Direction)
Grzegorz Piotrowski (Photography) Karolina Kowalska (Acting)
Daniel Krzyżanowski (Film and Television Production)

Congratulations!

During the ceremony, the scholarship recipients were accompanied by Prof. Marek Szyryk, Vice-Rector in charge of Students and Curriculum.

"The ministerial scholarship has the power of a seal with which, on behalf of the state authorities, we confirm your outstanding achievements and authorize you as ambassadors of Polish culture to represent it. (…) You take responsibility for strengthening Poland's position as a country boasting a centuries-old cultural heritage." – wrote Deputy Prime Minister Prof. Piotr Gliński in a letter read by the director of the Department of Artistic Education, Jarosław Wartak

For many years, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage has been awarding scholarships to students with significant scientific or artistic achievements related to their studies. The recipients of the Minister's Scholarships are the winners of international and national competitions, festivals, reviews, as well as those who have participated with success in concerts, exhibitions and scientific conferences. Art schools supervised by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, i.e. music academies, fine arts academies and theatre and film academies, educate over 15,000 students, which is less than 1% of the studying youth.
