We launched the Aid Centre for Ukraine and people fleeing from areas affected by warfare.

The reaction of the Lodz Film School community to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine is unequivocal - a sense of solidarity with the victims and the will to help. Students, lecturers and employees are actively involved in specific activities: collecting gifts, transporting people, providing accommodation, voluntary cooperation with organizations and institutions providing support. It is important to remember that we are not dealing with a short-term crisis - our help and dedication will be needed in the long run.

The Lodz Film School is open to cooperation with institutions and organizations providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine and ready to join in and support aid activities undertaken by members of our community.

For this purpose, the Help Centre of the Lodz Film School for Ukraine was established.

The task of the Lodz Film School Aid Centre for Ukraine is to collect proposals for activities, define priorities and facilitate communication between those involved, heads of units and university authorities. In aid activities, we can use the resources, infrastructure and space of the School to the extent that will not interfere with the implementation of its basic tasks.
