"Quo vadis, Aida?" dir. Jasmila Žbanić was nominated in the Best International Film category. The film editor is JAROSŁAW KAMIŃSKI, our directing lecturer and head of the Editing Faculty.

"Quo vadis, Aida?" was co-produced with Poland (producer Ewa Puszczyńska) and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

The film previously received two BAFTA nominations for Non-English Film and Directing. It is also nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards, one of the most important awards in American independent cinema. Previously, it was screened at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in the main competition, the 45th Toronto International Film Festival, and the World Cinema section of the Busan International Film Festival.

JAROSŁAW KAMIŃSKI
Born in Łódź, in 1960.
He graduated from FAMU, Prague, where he studied film editing and received a PhD degree.
From 1992, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Film and Television Directing at the Łódź Film School.
In 1996-99, Deputy Dean of the Department. Currently, the head of the Editing Faculty.
Member and founder of the Polish Society of Editors. President from 2011-2013.
Member of the Polish Film Academy, the European Film Academy (EFA) and the American Film Academy.
Editor of many famous and recognized films, including: "Cold War", "Ida", "Jack Strong", "Aftermath", "You are God", "The Art of Loving", "The Lure" and many others.
